Albion-Homer United Way invests
in the community by providing
Grants to local
health/human services agencies.
These agencies are our
Program Delivery Partners
and provide direct
programs and services to local
residents in five targeted
impact areas: 1) Health/Wellness, 2)
Workforce
Development, 3) Family
Subsistence, 4)
Education, and 5) Emergency
Needs. Funds for these Grants
are made available from
undesignated/unrestricted
campaign dollars received from
Albion-Homer United Way’s Annual
Campaign and occasionally from
other granting institutions.
Program Delivery Partners are Grant
recipients,
selected by a panel of community
volunteers comprised of Albion and
Homer residents representing diverse
ages, backgrounds, and occupations.
The panel carefully reviews
applications, listens to agency
presentations, identifies programs
best aligned with Albion-Homer
United Way’s mission and targeted
impact areas, and then makes
recommendations to the United Way
Board of Directors. Contact us for
Allocation Grant applications and
deadlines.
